Checking of Hose Reel

Check that there are no obstructions preventing the use of the Hose Reel.

Check that the key to unlockthe Hose Reel cabinet is housedin a housing on the cabinet.

• Turn on the hose reel valve before releasing the hose reel.

• Run out the hose

• Turn on water at nozzle and direct the stream at the base of the fire.

Hose Reel handler and assistant must not be standing on the same side of the hose. They should be on opposite sides of the hose.

Ensure the hose is not curled .

When keeping hose, ensure it is not entangled

Assistant will help to reel the hose intothe drum ,rolling the drum and making surethe hose does not get entangled.

Assistant and Hose reel controllerwork in tandem.

Ensure Hose is reeled in neatly.

Push hose reel drum into cabinet

Remember to shut off water supply.

Close cabinet door

Lock the cabinet and mount the key back on the key holder.
