Leviton’sVizia RF +TMcomponentsaredesignedtocommunicatewitheachotherviaRadioFrequency(RF)toprovideremotecontrolofyourlighting.UsingRFtechnologyallowsLevitontoprovidethegreatestsignalintegritypossible.EachmoduleinLeviton’sVizia RF +TMcomponentlineisaZ-Wave®enableddevice.InaZ-Wave® network,eachdeviceisdesignedtoactasarouter.Theserouterswillre-transmittheRFsignalfromonedevicetoanotheruntiltheintendeddeviceisreached.Thisensuresthatthesignalisreceivedbyitsintendeddevicebyroutingthesignalaroundobstaclesandradiodeadspots.TheSceneCapableIncandescentDimmeriscompatiblewithanyZ-Wave®enablednetwork,regardlessofthemanufacturerandcanalsobeusedwithotherdevicesdisplayingtheZ-Wave® logo. useelectricaltapetocover.• Proceed to Step 5.

Including Scene Capable Dimmer into Z-Wave® Network:

Restore Power: Restorepoweratcircuitbreakeror fuse.Installation is complete.

D)ThePrimaryProgrammer/ControllerwillassignanodeIDnumber(Name)forthismodule.

NOTE: ThisIDnumber(Name)willbestoredinthecontrollerlibrarytobeusedforfuturereference.

NOTE: Youmayeditthenameofthisdeviceatthistime.

E) The dimmer is now installed in the network.

NOTE: IfadimmerhasbeensuccessfullyIncludedinthenetworkandtheusertriestoIncludeitagainwithoutfirstexcludingitfromthenetwork,themodulewillretainthefirstnodeIDithadreceivedandignorethesecond.

Testing your Dimmer prior to mounting in wall box:

Factory Default:Ifyourdimmerisnotresponding,oryouareunabletocontrolitafteryouhavetriedtoInclude/Excludeitmultipletimes,itmaybenecessarytoresetthedimmertoitsoriginalfactorysettings.Toaccomplishthis,proceedasfollows:• Onthedimmer,engageheair-gapswitch(refer to Operation

section)andwait5seconds.PresspushpadbackintoframeandholdpushpaduntilthelocatorLEDturnsAmberandthenturnsRed.Thedimmerisnowreset.Oncethedimmerisreset,itwillbenecessarytoRe-Includeittoanetworkbeforeitcanbeused.
