To create a learning environment that empowers students to read, learn, and grow in creativity.

• Computers not sufficient for full class• Class separated• Miscellaneous students

Line: • Horizontal lines (calming) –boarder around ceiling (sound

barrier)• Vertical lines (creates height) - columns around arc

Form:• Chairs, tables, everything• Realistic/geometric form throughout library

Space:• No concentration on space in the LMC• Concentrate on codes/ regulations to create space consciousness

Mass:• Low mass; no pattern and no clutter• Furnishings are literal and straight to the point

Texture:• Textures throughout LMC are tactile • -minimal use of textures used

Color:• White- fresh /pure/ sterile• Blue- cool/tranquil• Maroon- danger/drama
