What is the Cell Theory?

• The Cell theory is a widely accepted explanation of the relationship between cells and living things.

The Cell Theory States the following

1.All living things are composed of cells.

2.Cell are the basic unit of structure and function in living things.

3.All living things are produced from other cells.

How Do Microscopes Work?

• Some microscopes focus light through lenses to produce a magnified image, and others use beams of electrons.

Two main Types• Compound Light Microscope is an instrument that uses two or

more lenses to magnify small organisms.

• Electron Microscopes produce clearer and more detailed images than light microscope, they cannot be used to observe living things. focuses a beam of electrons to magnify objects.
