Glasgow during the 20th century. Today we will identify what made the living standards so poor

here.

Today’s Task

• Page 18 gives you the census information for five households all living in one block in Lyon Street

• Use the worksheet to fill in the details for each family

• Then colour in the rest of the worksheet to look like a Glasgow tenement around 1900
