The students of the 5th grade made recycled paper using old newspapers and scrap paper

First they tore the paper into very small bits

The paper was then placed in a plastic bin with a little water and the mixture was left to soak for about 24 hours

The next day they put the mixture in a blender to make it into a mash

The mixture was then placed on a wire mesh.

The mixture is carefully rolled out to become as flat as possible

The mixture can be coloured using water colours

The paper must be left to dry for a few days

The paper was used to make their Christmas cards
