Introduction

This report presents the results of the National Association of Physician Recruiters 2015 Physician Recruitment Industry Trends

Survey (utilizing 2014 data).

A total of 2187 organizations were invited to complete an online survey in April - May 2015. Sixty-eight organizations

(33 facility, 17 contingency, and 18 retained/hybrid) completed the survey for a response rate of 3%. Several large

organizations that have participated in the previous survey did not participate this year, resulting in significant swings

in the survey’s results. The report offers coverage on operational metrics, financials and procurement effectiveness

— as well as many other areas that any recruiting organization will find useful to help benchmark performance.

The following report highlights are grouped by organizational recruiting type, as is the report – by contingency,

facility/in-house and retained/hybrid.
