Certificate of Conformity

• Our weld process gases conform to ISO14175 & AWS 5.3.2

• We provide a Certificate of Conformity (COC) on request.

EN1090 Compliance

CE Marking & EN1090 applies to all fabricated structural products

• CE Marking of construction products was introduced in the Construction Products Directive (CPD) in 1989.

• The CPD was a European Directive that seeks to remove barriers to trade and applies to all construction products.

• On 1st July 2013 the CPD was replaced by the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). This is mandatory in all member states.

• The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) requires structural steel (including stainless steel) and aluminium products to be CE marked. EN1090 is a supporting standard which sets the requirements for conformity assessment of steel and aluminium structural components

Compliance with EN1090 is required for CE marking

• CE Marking requires a Factory Production Control (FPC) system described in EN1090 to be put in place and certified by a Notified Body

• Factory Production Control requirements: ‒ Welder Qualifications to ISO 9606‒ Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) & Weld Procedure Qualifications Records

(WPQR) to ISO15614

• In WPS & WPQR the weld process gas is documented according ISO14175‒ Air Products technical support team can help‒ Record & document WPS‒ Develop standard WPS & WPQR‒ Using our Maxx® / Linx® gases and standard Weldsure gases and mixtures
