DVB-H answer to specific handheld needs

• Changing portable environment, interaction with mobile networks– 4k mode including native interleaver (optional) allows better

reception in mobile environment than 8k and allow to build up larger SFN cells than 2k.

– Allows a DVB-H network to be in the same environment as a cellular system (2G and 3G)

• Smaller antennas than standard receivers improved C/N performance required– Additional Forward Error correction – 8k interleaving for 2k and 4k Mode

• Small & light batteries instead of mains power– Time slicing allows extended battery life of receiver

DVB-T/H Gap-Filler TVU-D665 “ATOM” with Echo Cancellation

• Fully digital design

• unique IF filter technology and IF filter performance for adjacent channel suppression on the market

• several different software filters available(runtime and selectivity optimized)

• Processing delay < 10us (typ. 5µs) -> important for SFN

• Adjacent channel suppression > 70dB

• AEC algorithm works completely automatic (no manual tuning)

• Usual benefits you well know from DTV660
