• TINY CLICKABLE AREAS• LONG REGISTRATION FORMS• NO BACKGROUND MUSIC• DUPLICATE PAGE TITLES• CONTENT DIFFICULT TO SCAN• NO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH• NO WAY TO SEARCH• TOO MUCH FUNCTIONALITY IN REGISTRATION• CONTENT BLOCKS LAYERING UPON EACH OTHER• BLINKING IMAGES

Tiny Clickable Areas•  Far too small• Clicking them is harder than

it should beWhy would we want a larger clickable area?• Simple. Because our hand

movement with the mouse isn’t very precise.

• A large clickable area makes it easier to hover the mouse cursor over the link. 

Long registration forms? Not again!!

• Barriers• No fun• Consumes time• Frustrating

Who is going to remember the user name and password?

• First Don’t• Provide User Controls

Duplicate Page Titles• Generic title• Robs a couple of key benefits What the page is about Search engine results pages.  SEO(search engine optimizer) how relevant your page is to a particular search term.

We jump from one piece of content to another, from one website to the next.

No Way To Contact

Solution:• Forums to the rescue

• Online forums are a great communication channel 

• A public forum is better than a simple contact form or email 

• People can help each other

No Way To Search

Where’s The Search Box? Jackob Nielsen calls those people search-dominant

users  More than half of all users are search-dominant People know exactly what they’re looking for  Go straight for the search button  You don’t need to code your own search feature

Content blocks layering upon each other

Large Flash-movies Site navigation is hidden No chance to browse

Too much functionality in registration

Users do not have to identify themselves to enjoy some functionality

Some blogs require people to register before posting

Once users start using your website, they will more likely sign up

Blinking Images extremely hard to focus Distraction Hard to avoid Not much effective as well
