NEOLITHIC AGE

People learned to polish stone, make saws and drills and fire.

Started to learn how to farm.

They learned instead of picking food, to growing it during this era.

Domestication: process of changing plants to make them more useful to humans.

FARM CHANGING SOCIETIES

People began to build permanent settlements.

Some areas: farming communities developed into small towns.

People started to perform religious ceremonies and created Megaliths: huge stones used as monuments.

WHAT DID PEOPLE BELIEVE?

More than likely, people believed in gods or goddesses of: air, water, fire, and earth.

Some societies today still hold on to this belief.
