MUFFY 2016 Fundraising campaign

In 1970, a collaborative effort among local citizens to raise funds for social services became the Montgomery United Fund For You.

Since that time, MUFFY has raised over $13.7 million dollars for the Montgomery County community.

2014: MUFFY Gives $16,000 to New Beginnings Child Care, helping over 100 families find secure

quality childcare and keep their jobs.

2015: MUFFY receives a check from the Youth Service Bureau’s Youth As Resources group

fundraiser.

2014: Pace Dairy Foods raises over $44,000 for MUFFY. In 2015 they raised over $50,000,

making them the best employee fundraiser in the county for two years in a row.

2014: MUFFY raised over $35,000 for the Montgomery County Free Clinic through a

matching grant program.

2016: MUFFY granted $50,000 to the Youth Service Bureau’s Nourish Program, which provides backpacks

full of nutritious food to children in Montgomery County facing hunger issues.

MUFFY can invest in the positive growth of our community because YOU invest in MUFFY.

MUFFY was established to make it easier and more convenient for donors to give to one united fund.

Instead of fielding hundreds of individual charity solicitations, MUFFY donors can be secure in knowing their gifts automatically go to 18 nonprofit organizations throughout Montgomery County.

MUFFY allocated funds to over 18 nonprofit organizations in 2016.

MUFFY is the only nonprofit organization in Montgomery County authorized to collect funds through payroll deduction.

Payroll deduction authorizes your company to take a small amount from your salary each pay period and forward it to MUFFY.

MUFFY then distributes the funds to its partner organizations every month, giving them a steady stream of income with which to help those in need.
