GENESIS 12:1-9

1 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.

GENESIS 12:1-9

2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

GENESIS 12:1-9

3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earthwill be blessed through you.”

GENESIS 12:1-94 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.

GENESIS 12:1-9

5 He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.

GENESIS 12:1-9

6 Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land.

GENESIS 12:1-9

7 The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.

GENESIS 12:1-9

8 From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD.

GENESIS 12:1-9

9 Then Abram set out and continued toward the Negev.

THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE TODAY DETERMINE THE

STORIES YOU TELL TOMORROW.

SOMETIMES, THE BEST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE IS TO GO WHEN IT WOULD BE

EASIER TO STAY.

HEBREWS 12:22 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I DECIDED TO GO

GENESIS 12:1

1 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.

To go somewhere else, you must leave where

you are.

To step toward your destiny, you have to step away from your

security.

GENESIS 12:2-3

2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

GENESIS 12:2-3

3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earthwill be blessed through you.”

We’re not changed by making promises to

God, but we are changed

by believing God’s promises to us.

GENESIS 12:44 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.

You can’t imagine the blessings if

you obey; or what you miss

if you don’t.

What does god want you to want?

What step of faith do you need to

take?

It Takes faith to please god.

Hebrews 11:8By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

You don’t have to have the

faith to finish – just have the faith

to get started.

Exodus 3:10-11

10 So now, GO. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring My people the Israelites out of Egypt."

Exodus 3:10-11

11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"

Exodus 4:10-12

10 Moses said to the Lord, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue."

Exodus 4:10-12

11 The Lord said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

Exodus 4:10-12

12 Now GO; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."
