Strength of Nagoya
City Planning Policy
City of Nagoya and City Planning Policy
The core of traffic networksNagoya is located near the center of Japan and has the railway network, expressways, airport and port. Therefore, it's the core of wide-area traffic networks.
The strong economic power by industry accumulation
The world-class industrial technology of not only vehicles but also airplanes, precision instruments, machine tools and fine ceramics is concentrated, and stable employment is secured under the strong economic power.
The Comfortable Living EnvironmentThe wide roads and parks are secured, and the comfortable living environment is created. Commuting time is relatively short in spite of a big city, so it's a city satisfied with leisure time. In addition, it's a nice city to live by reason of good water, adequate medical services, convenience of life and superior comfort.
The ability of citizens and local government to respond
Citizens and local government can work together to address the issues as we achieved the waste reduction by working with citizens.
Use the strength of Nagoya and promote the sustainable city planning which is unique to Nagoya and leads to future.
