Our new Oliver Library System went ‘live’ last Friday. Its fantastic!
Year One: Mrs Levett and Mrs Steward will be working in Year One this week while Mrs Beaumont is on Long Service Leave. Snake Tales: Today we enjoyed another visit from Bob Withey and his snakes. We all learnt a lot of important and interesting facts about the variety of different snakes living in Australia. Father’s Day Breakfast: We look forward to seeing all our Dads and Grandfathers for breakfast this Thursday morning. Cereal, toast, bacon and eggs and hot coffee or tea will be served under the covered area from 7.30-8.30am . Footy Colours Day: This Friday we will be participating in Footy Colours Day and the students are encouraged to donate two dollars (or more) in exchange for wearing their favourite footy colours to school. They may also wish to display their team flags along the rails of the assembly area. Phil Purtill, Noah’s grandfather will be helping with footy activities during sport so students must wear joggers as normal. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, it affects Australians of all ages and from all walks of life. Money raised from our annual fundraiser will be forwarded to the Fight Cancer Foundation to fund vital care, treatment methods and cures for young children living with cancer. Impetigo: We had been notified of a case of Impetigo (School Sores). These are fairly common in all schools and students are not excluded as long as they are being treated by a doctor and the sores are covered with band aids. Please let the office know if your child has any.
