Objectives

• Use Digital equipment to research, generate, edit and store new media products

• Show your understanding of the advantages of digital tech

• Evaluate own competence using digital tech

What is New Media?

It is:

• Internet, websites, computer multimedia, computer games, CD-ROMS, and DVDs

It isn’t:

• television programs, feature films, magazines, books or paper-based publications

• Music on Vinyl

• MP3 Player or Phone
