Our second activity is the

Race of our Race

These activity is inspired by the reality TV show, Amazing Race.

But we added a little twist in this race.

One purpose of this race is for the students know the global endeavor

we are imparting them.

One task is for them to decipher a phrase that introduces the theme

of the celebration.

We also test their knowledge about planting trees and facts

about nature in one task. We let them pick a paper from a basin filled with flour, then they will

answer the question there.

In one task, we test their segregating skills by giving them a

situation to decide whether an object is RECYCLABLE or NON-

RECYCLABLE.

We also let them taste the goodness of what nature can offer by letting them refresh from fruits

and vegetables.

In the last portion of the race, their task is to plant a tree which serves as an indicator that their

race is already finished.

We put these to the last to build up the excitement among players and for them to put effort in planting

these trees.

At the end of these activities, we saw our fellow students happy and

fulfilled.Knowing that we imparted on

them the feeling of helping Mother Nature in our own way.

The caring of these trees is entrusted to the teams who played

the race.

We also hope that if the grows up, it does not only help to lessen CO2

emissions, But it will also inspire others who will see these trees someday to start investing for their future

By simply planting a tree.
