To enter Tiger SpeakOut, you must: -­‐‑ Be enrolled in COMM 1500 or COMM 2500 during the semester of the contest -­‐‑ Submit all required entry materials by the deadline -­‐‑ Be available to compete in BOTH the preliminary AND final round -­‐‑ Your speech must fall between 5 and 8:30 minutes.

PRELIMINARY ROUND – No more than 30 students will be selected from the entry pool to compete in the preliminary round on Monday, April 20th, 2015, from 1:15-2:15 p.m. or in the case of a scheduled course conflict, Monday, April 20th, 2015 from 4 to 5 p.m., in an announced classroom.

FINAL ROUND - Six finalists advancing from the preliminary round will compete in the final round on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Lee Hall Auditorium 2-111.

*If the technology is not working, students should still speak. A speaking podium is not always available.**Professional or upper casual dress is appropriate for each level of competition.

REWARD- 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $250, 3rd place: $125, 4th place: $50, 5th and 6th place: $25
