This month's pixel hike is taken in Edgeware, a virtual 3d space owned

by Brenda Quorzar, which is found within the virtual world of

InWorldz.

Brenda's vision is to develop a community of Star Trek fans, and

develop role play scenarios inspired by the Star Trek universe.

Quorzar's sim is a substantial and impressive build, lovingly

constructed and detailed by acclaimed virtual world builder Nutty

Swansong. Today's walk is just a taster of what's on offer here.

If you enjoyed Captain Janeaway's Voyager you will feel at home in

this homage to her beautiful vessel.

Consoles flash, corridors arch away into seeming infinity. Is this as

close as you we can get to visiting a working space ship? That's what

visitors seemed to be saying, as they oohed, and aahed, wandering in

this futuristic maze.

"I still get lost myself" laughed Brenda, as she showed me around,

explaining that Nutty has also been busy contructing a space station,

which visitors are also welcome to visit.

Nutty told me that while obviously inspired by Voyager, and Deep

Space Nine, his builds are in fact adapted to feel 'real' in a 3d

environment for role play..quite a challenge when the TV series is

filmed on cutaway sets which don't necessarily join together in logical

ways.

Role play in this environment looks like it will be serious fun! If you

prefer just to look around and soak up the atmosphere, then the

group will make you feel very welcome.

and slightly to your right you see a single door.

Open this and follow a winding corridor

which bends right to enter the Bridge.

Cross the meeting room

bearing left along a small corridor.

Up some steps and to the right,

you exit a small door,

back onto a main corridor.

follow until you are walking West.
