MARQUES AVENUE LA SÉGUINIÈRE AT THE GATEWAY TO CHOLETA UNIQUE FACTORY OUTLET VILLAGE ON THE WAY TO THE BEACH

MARQUES AVENUE La Séguinière

The architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte designed Marques Avenue La Séguinière, located on the way to the Atlantic beaches, a string of holiday destinations, as a contemporary cloister, creating a destination in its own right. He thought of everything it takes to make shopping a relaxing experience : 40 stores laid out gardens and playgrounds with woo-den children’s games and lounge chairs to catch the first rays of sunshine. This green, airy site also hosts a branch of the local tourist office.

Over 80 major brands synonymous with style and quality, such as Petit Bateau, Oxbow, Kickers, De Fursac, Heyraud, IKKS, Princesse Tam-Tam, Aigle, Seb, Catimini, Dim, Delsey, Quiksilver, Le Creuset, Tom Tailor, Levi’s… are there to sell their previous collections at discounts of at least 30% year round.

With the expansion, opened in 2011, Marques Avenue La Séguinière reaches 50 shops and additional amenities to attract even more consumers on the way to their holidays.

Cholet, the Loire region’s 2nd-biggest economic area after Nantes/St Nazaire, is a green oasis with noteworthy natural sites 40 minutes from Nantes and Angers. The town has a very vibrant face, reflecting its dense, diversified economic fabric.

A historic manufacturing and textile centre and a modern regional hub boasting a wide variety of activities, Cholet quickly focused on weaving, in particular by developing its textile industry, before turning to footwear, which made it famous.

In 2005 Cholet became a national competitiveness cluster thanks to the child cluster and brought together over 40 companies in that field.
