The purpose of the phonics screening check will be
to confirm that all children have learned phonic
decoding to an age-appropriate standard.
Individual children’s results will be made available to
parents, so that parents are
kept informed about their child’s progress in developing
word-reading skills.
Phonics test are usually carried out in the Summer term
most likely in May.
FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER AT 9.00 P.M.
It is important that your child attends school daily for them to make progress – if your child has a cold or sniffles, where possible it is best practice to send them to school. If they become unwell during the school day, a member of staff will contact you.
Whilst appointments , at times, can not be avoided: we would like to ask that appointments are booked on a Friday after 12:30pm
