The Kindergarten Program

Emphasis on importance of play in young children’s learning

“In playing, children express, explore, combine, and extend what they have learned about the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the world around them; about the words, signs, symbols, and customs of their language and culture; and about their own and other people’s thoughts, feelings, ideas, and sensations.”

IBO Mission Statement

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring,

knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a

better and more peaceful world through intercultural

These programmes encourage students across the world to

become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who

understand that other people, with their differences, can also

be right.

The Aim of IB Programs

“The aim of all IB programs is to

develop internationally minded people

who, recognizing their common

humanity and shared guardianship of the

planet, help to create a better and more

peaceful world.”
