He holds a bachelor’s degree in Lawfrom Santo Domingo’s Autonomous University (UASD)—wherehe received the J. Humberto Ducoudray Award as the mostoutstanding student of his class at the Faculty of Juridical andPolitical Sciences’ School of Law. In 1978, he obtained a PhDcum laude from the same University.
