When will Americans cast their ballot to select the next President of the United States?
Presidential elections are held every four years on the Tuesday after the first Monday of November.
This was decided long ago, when many voters had to make a long, slow journey to the polling place.
By early November crops were in but the weather was usually not too cold for travel.
And because Sunday was a day of rest, voters would begin the trip on Monday.
So who will get to sit in the oval office…
…and live for four years in the White House?
We won’t find out until after November 6.
