Production XMT
The Production XMT lands out in the wellbay on the 4slot manifold template. Here it connects onto the18-3/4" wellhead and to the manifold using a 12"Horizontal Connection Module (HCM). The hydrauliccontrol pressure is supplied through the 12" HCM andthe electrical supply through 2 off electrical flying leadswhich connects on to the Subsea Control Module (SCM)directly.
The Production XMT provides the required means of controlon the well. The Production Master Valve (PMV) andProduction Wing Valve (PWV) provide barriers for theproduction fluid. The Production Choke Valve (PCV) providesthe means for adjusting flow from the well. The SCMprovides hydraulic control and monitoring abilities forpressure and temperature in the XMT and the well. The mainbore of the XMT allows for the landing of a Tubing Hanger(TH) which can provide hydraulic and electric communicationdown hole as well as chemical injection.

Field proven design
This Production XMT has been based on the originalHigh-Pressure/High-Temperature (HPHT) XMT whichwas first designed for use on the Statoil Kristin field.This has later been used on the Statoil Morvin andTotal Hild fields.
This XMT will be installed on the Lundin Brynhild field.
