media product and why?

IPC MEDIA

• Europe’s largest privately owned media group produces magazines in 15 countries

• Has a turnover of 2.08 Billion Euros• Produces over 300 magazines (including Q and

Other Publishers

Other publishers include Natmags and Emap. These are less suitable however, as these produce more glossy mag type of Mags.

AnalysisFor my magazine I would have to pick a publisher that would work well, and so I decided to go for ICP media since Bauer already publish the very similar and successful KERRANG! Because ICP produce NME as the music magazine I think a magazine like mine would fit in the niche within the publisher group; whereas Bauer would have to divide attention between two magazines of the same genre.
