Recycling in Our Town
Our town has a Recycling Centre where many items can be recycled. Private run companies offer front door refuse and recycling collections for householders at a fee around €200 per year.

BATTERIES OIL WASTE PAPER ELECTRICAL GOODS
PAINT BULBS GREEN WASTE METAL CARDBOARD
All goods except plastic are sorted on site. Plastic is sent to another centre in Tralee where it is sorted. Unfortunately at the moment, most of the items collected in Clonakilty are sent aboard to be recycled.
