EDS should not be confused with other forms of electroacupuncture.

Electrotherapy -Involves the use of electrical stimulation toenhance the acupuncture effect.

Small, electrical impulses are sent through the skin during electrodermal screening, but only so that the pulses themselves can be evaluated.

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation(TENS) -Sends tiny electrical impulses through the skin to the nerves lying directly beneath the skin surface. The impulses help block the body's ability to send a pain message to your brain and increase the body's ability to produce its own pain killing substances (Endorphins).

Electrodermal testing devices have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") for assessment of nutritional deficiencies, food allergies, the presence of toxins, Candida, Epstein Barr virus, or the weakness of organs and glands. Abstract

A pilot study of the feasibility of using a frequency-based decision support technology to monitor health

status and triage medical referral in 200 Beijing residents was

undertaken by the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Comparison of a two day physical exam to a

four minute frequency-based stress bio-survey revealed diagnostic agreement in a majority of

the major organ systems.

Findings

Health Status was measured as the documentation ofsignificant pathology or functional disturbance in the

(instrument),respectively. The results showed 87% congruency in
