Miss Traflcante's ""'musical'background is extensive - shestudied at Juilliard under thelaie Hardesly Johnson, and ,afterwinning the "Metropolitan Opera ,Auditions of the Art,"she studiedat the Kathryn Long School ofthe Metropolitan. She was alsoawarded a Fulbright grant , andcontinued her studies in Munich,Germany. During her studies inGermany she sang in many Ger-main Opera Theatres as a guestartist. Returning home she washonored with grants from theIvCartha Baird Rockefeller Aid toMCusic Program, which enabledher to further her work In Italy,milking her debut at the famousTflatro Nuov o in Milan. MissT raficante has c'oncertized con-siderably in Europe and Amer-ica; and in October of this yearshe will prerent a recital in theL ibrary of the Performing Artsat Lincoln Center.
