SAFARI

WHAT SAFARI CAN DO

• Safari is an Internet browsing tool where you can search for specific websites, bookmark pages you may want to revisit, save Internet content or pictures off-line, and add frequently used web pages to your iPad home screen.

BROWSING

• Click on the Safari app

• You can either directly type in a website address or use a search engine like Google to do a topic search.

BOOKMARK OR STORE OFFLINE

• Once you have found a website you would like to access more than once, you can bookmark it. To do this, touch the "share" arrow and then choose the bookmark icon.

• Notice you can also choose to add it to the off line reading list instead. This will store the displayed pages content by selecting "add to reading list"

ACCESSING BOOKMARK OR STORE OFFLINE

• After you have bookmarked a website, you can go back to it in Safari by choosing the book and then selecting the name of the saved page

• Notice at the bottom of the bookmark menu, you can select the glass icon to also view the pages you have saved off-line.

SAVING A WEBSITE TO THE HOME SCREEN• If you have a website you wish to access quickly, you can add it to your iPad home screen.

• Using the "share" button select the "add to home" icon. You can then rename the app button if you wish before hitting add.
