2018
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU
Thank you to so many people who helped make this year’s Winterfest celebration so special in every way.
First and foremost, thank you once again to Kate Harteau and Anne Mueller and their families for chairing this event.
The time, energy, dedication and effort they put into making everything so wonderful can’t begin to be calculated.
This was the first year for Kate and Anne chairing this event and they did such a magnificent job. Thanks also to the Waldoch family who have passed on the torch after a number of years of chairing the event.
We are most grateful.
The Bunzel family came through once again and outdid themselves by providing the most delicious food which was enjoyed throughout the afternoon. We are very thankful to you!
We are most appreciative for the Home and School Association, its presidents, Jen and Tom Olejniczak, the other officers and members for sponsoring and working countless hours to provide this
fun-raiser, friend-raiser and fund-raiser which benefits all. What an outstanding job you all do!
Thank you to the teachers who turned out in full force, as did the army of parents and Middle School students to help in so many capacities -
working in the kitchen, running the games, creatively painting the faces, collecting the tickets, and filling all the roles needed
to make for a splendid, fun-filled day for young and old alike. Thank you so much!
Finally, to all who supported by your presence and participation, we thank you. The overwhelming support this event receives
is so greatly appreciated! The proceeds for this and all Home and School fundraisers help to enhance the many programs which benefit all the Saint Jude School community.

All students in grades 1 - 8 enjoyed bowling on Tuesday. Whether an expert or someone new to the game, it was a great
experience for everyone.
The kindergarten students enjoyed a
special presentation about therapy dogs. Learning about how these special animals assist others and help
provide affection, love and companionship to others was a lesson in how even a dog can
let his/her light shine.
Hands-on Science Works for 5K Students
Building a volcano and then watching it erupt was a great way for the 5K students to learn about the earth’s surface and how it changes once a volcano erupts.
It’s a New Year!
