St. Therese of Lisieux of the Child Jesus & the Holy Face
Feast Day: October 1st
The statue of St. Therese has been restored
by Catherine
Faivre.
We are thankful the
generous offering of her
time and talent.
Where is the statue?
The simple words “Jesus I love you…”, are at the heart of all her writings. The act of love for Jesus immersed her in the Most Holy Trinity.
St. Therese wrote: “Ah, you know, Divine Jesus I love you / The spirit of Love enflames me with his fire, / It is in loving you that I attract the Father.” (P 17/2).

October: The Month of the Holy Rosary
When St Dominic preached the Rosary, he would explain to people all the wonderful insights to be
found in each mystery…Many popes have praised the Rosary as a spiritual school and a weapon against evil.
Pope Pius XI called the Rosary “the breviary of the laity.” Pope Pius XII said: “If you wish peace in your
family, pray the Rosary.” Pope John Paul II strongly recommended the family Rosary. At Fatima when Mary appeared to the tree children in 1917, she stressed the Rosary and asked
that it be prayed every day for world peace. St Louis de Montfort strongly encouraged people to pray the
Rosary each day, but to meditate on the holy mysteries presented in each decade of the Rosary.
We
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus Please pick for me a rose
from the heavenly garden and send it to me
as a message of love.
O Little Flower of Jesus,
ask God to grant the favors I now place with confidence
in your hands (mention your special prayer request here)
St. Therese, help me to always
believe
as you did, in God's great love for me,
so that I may imitate your "Little Way" each day.
Amen

Defund Abortion Rally – October 3rd, 2013
Please join one of the Defund Abortion Rallies
occurring at all 107 MPP offices across Ontario.
Ontario taxpayers pay $50 million each year to fund abortions?
With that money we could hire 200 doctors or 400 nurses to help
fix the shortage, or treat 500 autistic children every year who are
not receiving care. Let us end the unjust practice of forcing
taxpayers to fund abortions. On Thursday October 3, www.campaignlifecoalition.com/defundON for locations/call 1.800.730.5358
