Add Supplemental FiO2
1. Remove black cap(do not discard cap or white filter)2. Attach green side of large bore tubing to vent3. Fully extend large bore tubing4. Attach small bore tubing to O2 source and turn flow to 6LPM
Monitor Patient
• Maintain end tidal CO2 between 35-45
• Increase RR or VT to lower end tidal CO2
• Decrease RR or VT to raise end tidal CO2
• Maintain SpO2 above 94%
• Increase FiO2 or PEEP (do not raise above 10) to raise SpO2
