Introduction:
‘How beautiful the world is….’ In the poem, ‘How Beautiful the World Is’, Paul King highlighted the natural beauty of the world. Let’s explore the beautiful lands of Haryana and Telangana.
To Understand: The similarity between both the states is that both the lands are culturally rich and blessed with beautiful
landscape. Yet they are different. Each state has its own language, unique culture, local ethnic costume and
local food and this diversity makes India a beautiful nation.

Images will be shown to the students to show the landscape, art & culture language, dresses
and food of Haryana and Telangana, followed by the class discussion.

Haryana is hot in summer and cold in winter and it has less rainfall. Keeping in mind the
climate of Haryana, draw a scenery showing how beautiful it can be by adding new things.

I. Switching the Computer ON
Computer is a machine that works on electricity. Parts of the computer like the CPU,
monitor, mouse and keyboard require electricity. To work on a computer, you need to
switch it ON.
Let's do it!
1. Switch ON the UPS.
2. Switch on the CPU.
3. Switch ON the Monitor.
Un-interrupted Power Supply also known as UPS is attached to the Computer, so that
a computer does not switch OFF, even when the electricity goes OFF.
Start Up is the sequence of actions done by the computer when it is
switched on. This is also called Booting.
How to start using the computer
1. Enter the correct username.
2. Enter the password.
Login and password
When a computer is used by more than one person, each user is given a username
and password to access it. If the username and password are not typed correctly,
the dialog box prompts you to enter them again.

Switching the Computer OFF
When you finish working on the computer, you should switch it OFF.
Let's do it!
1. Click on the Start button and select the ‘Shutdown’ option.
2. Wait till the computer switches OFF.
3. Switch OFF the Monitor.
4. Switch OFF the UPS.
5. Now your computer is switched OFF.
