Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the International Live Symposium „Cardiovascular Disease between Intervention and Surgery”,held in Munich, Germany on November 6th and 7th 2008.

The aim of this symposium is to encourage the exchangebetween cardiac surgery and cardiology. The two fields aremoving closer together. Due to tremendous technologicaladvancements in recent years, new techniques have evolvedin the different areas of cardiac care, enabling entirely newpossibilities in patient specific therapy. The programme covers key topics in cardiovascular disease and presents therapeutic options from the surgeon´s and the cardiologist´s view, respectively.

The symposium includes several live operations and interven-tions, transmitted directly from the operating rooms or catheter labs to the symposium venue. Thus, the audience is given the possibility to observe both the surgeon and interventionalist during their procedures, address questions and discuss treatment issues. Numerous lectures by renowned experts complete the visual impressions.

We look forward to welcoming you to Munich.

Yours sincerely,
