The Cool Crazy
Crickets This week we are learning about chapter books. Some stories take time to tell what happens. A chapter book divides a story into parts or chapters. The chapters may have titles or numbers. Each chapter tells a part of the story. We are also focusing on summarizing each chapter. On Thursday, we will practice reading chapter 4 as a reader’s theater. We will talk about how a script and a book look different. Extra practice reading from a script will help each student to improve that reading fluency.
Uses comprehension strategies.Reads fluently.
