DO everything you can to change the world for good

and for God. That is the GOSPEL!

The first two letters of GOSPEL are

“GO”

UNDERSTANDING “THE GOSPEL”

We are called to tell everybody about God

Tell everyone about the amazing things He has done

. . . (Psalm 96:3 – Living Bible)

Tell the news of His glory to the lost . . .

(Psalm 96:3 – The Message)

Why do we “FAIL” to share the Gospel?

Fear Apathy Ignorance Laziness

This message we are to tell is called

“The Gospel”

GOSPEL = “Good News”

Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all

creation. (Mark 16:15 – New International

Version)

He told them, “You are to go into all the world and preachthe Good News to everyone,

everywhere!” (Mark 16:15 – Living Bible)

GOSPEL = GO TELL

The Gospel is good news because it tells

what Jesus did for us

I told you the most important part of the

message exactly as it was told to me . . .

Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say. He was

buried, and three days later He was raised to life . . . (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – New International

Version)

FACT 1: Christ died

FACT 2: Christ died for our sins

FACT 3: Christ died

but He is lives again

Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be

saved. But how shall they ask Him

to save them unless they believe in Him?

And how can they believe in Him if they have never

heard about Him?

And how can they hear about Him unless someone

tells them? (Romans 10:13-14 – Living

Bible)

GOSPEL = God

GOSPEL = Offers

GOSPEL = Sinful

GOSPEL = People

GOSPEL = Eternal

GOSPEL = Life

QUESTION 1: How do we do it?

ONE VERSE EVANGELISM

For the wages of sin is death,

but the gift of God is eternal life

Sharing is my job!

QUESTION 2: Why do we do it?

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I see it as the very

power of God working for the salvation of everyone who

Saving is God’s job!

QUESTION 3: When do we do it?

We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned . . .

Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why

you’re living the way you are . . .

Shining is our job!

You can’t spell JesUs and not include “U”

It takes “U” to spell crUcified

And this word resUrrection

is spelled with a“U”

That I love them all, just like I love“U”

But it all starts with

“U”
