4 in 5 of the UK’s top retailers are on Twitter and 72% are active on Facebook

But most are just shouting

They aren’t listening…

…or engaging

We asked each of the 25 retailers a question on Facebook and Twitter…

On Facebook, 50% of questions posted on retailers’ walls were

left unanswered

It was worse on Twitter with 75% failing to reply

And when we posted a negative comment, the response was even worse…

…with 89% of negative comments on Facebook
