A groupe of courses covering certain theme. Its gradeincorporate all the grades of the constituting courses.

• Each course has its own evaluation method: Final exam,labwork, homework, quiz,...
• They are communicated on REFENS and by the teachers
• Master’s thesis: grade combines company/lab evaluation,report and answer to jury question
• Scientific writing: 4 pages article (On the master thesissubject) and Presentation during thesis defense.

• Semester grade is calculated by a weighted average ofAcademic Units (AU)
• Each semester is required to have an average note higherthan 10/20. No compensation between semesters
• Each Academic Unit should have a grade higher than7/20. Otherwise, students should undertake a resit.
• When semester is failed (grade < 10/20), student shouldtake a resit in one or several courses with an AcademicUnit grade < 10/20
• Master’s thesis should have a grade higher than 10/20. Itis not possible to have a resit for the Master’s thesis.

Examination regulations

• Lectures/labworks: always be on time.
• Abscence: Absence for an exam or a labwork should bejustified within a 48h(a copy to the program manager andthe teacher).
• Internship: Start looking as early as possible. (Generallyyou should have one at the end of November)
• Internship suppervisor(company or a lab): Helps you to beon track for the subject, provide a good workingenvironment. However, he is not there to do your work(autonomy).
• Intership tutor (Program professor): verify that the work isgoing well during the internship. But he is not a supervisor
• You should contact your internship tutor later 1 monthafter the internship start (even when everything is fine)
