Objectives

• To create an account of facebook (FB), blog and Twitter for the purpose of developing e-commerce system; and

• To explain the experience of creating FB and blog especially in related to how to make business by using these tools.

• Describe in detail of how to create, and what the best practices in creating these FB and Twitter accounts or identifications. Describe works with appropriate documentation; and

• Demonstrate examples of FB, Twitter and Blog that being used for e-commerce system especially related to business of suppliers, product promotion and selling the products to the relevant customers. Support demonstration with the actual system.

1. Go to FB URL www.facebook.com2. Click on ‘Create a Page’

4. Choose the category you are in, and fill out all relevant information.

5. Category and name cannot be changed once page is created.

3. Choose ‘Local Business or Place’ from 6 different classifications• Local business or Place• Artist, band, or public figure• Company, organization, or

institution.• Entertainment• Brand or product• Cause of community

6. Create a new personal FB account, or use existing account.

7. Complete basic information: upload photo/logo to represent business page.

• Select appropriate username – easily promote business and attract customers;

• Fill out profile completely - add pictures, business info, link to website;

• Build awareness - build fan base, promote your presence, put social-media links, send emails;

• Pump out useful contents – consistently share relevant info, reach new clients;

• Use Social Plugins – let people see what their friends have liked, commented on (Like Box, Comments)
