Take a Spring BreakTake a break from searching for a place to live and spending time packing boxes, when you could be out taking advantage of the warm weather. Spring into the office to renew your lease, then sit back, relax and enjoy all the season has to offer. If you have any questions about your lease options, please don’t hesitate to call. For those of you who have already renewed your lease, we look forward to serving you for another year!

You’re Not an April Fool! This month we celebrate April Fools Day, but you aren’t a fool at all. You know that by simply telling your friends and family about our community, you may earn a referral fee of $300. The money is yours when your referrals move in. How much easier can it be?

Don’t fool around and miss this opportunity to make some easy money. Start telling everyone about your home at The Summit today! For more details on our Resident Referral program, call the office.

On the AirWe just might have some weather warm enough for you to use your air conditioner. You might notice an odor due to the fact that your unit has not been used for several months. Let the air conditioner run for a few minutes and the smell should be gone. If you notice any problems with your thermostat or air flow, call the office for prompt attention.

Bugged By Bugs?We are happy to provide routine pest control to ensure you are not bugged by bugs. Pleasant weather is approaching, bringing everyone and everything out. If by chance some unwanted critters bother you, let us know. We will gladly schedule service to get rid of them for you.

Spring Spruce-UpMany of us get the itch to clean in the spring when everything

outside is new, fresh and beautiful. As you are cleaning the nooks and crannies of your home, be sure to note any service requests. We

like to be made aware of minor situations that we can handle long before they become potential problems. Together we can keep your home in tip-top shape all the way around.

Slick RoadsRemember to be especially careful driving during wet weather. Use additional caution when driving in our community during the rain. Be especially cautious of residents dashing in from the weather and cars backing out of the lot. As we know, it is very difficult to stop quickly when the roads are wet. It is also difficult to see where water has collected on the road. If you are not careful, your vehicle may hydroplane and you may lose control. So practice good driving skills: Keep a safe distance behind other vehicles; brake slowly; keep speeds down; be very observant; and always be ready to react.

Regardless of where you are, realize you must drive a little more cautiously when it’s raining or when roads are wet. It may take a little longer, but it is worth it when you arrive safely.

Gesundheit! Are you prone to sneezing, coughing, wheezing, itchy eyes, or nasal congestion? Springtime often aggravates those with allergies, but there are also many possible allergens in your home. House dust may contain dust mites, food particles, animal dander, bits of plants and insects, and bits of fabrics. Here’s some tips on how to eliminate common household allergens and pollutants:• Vacuum two or three times a week. It’s best to use a vacuum designed

especially for people with allergies. Vacuums are now made with HEPA (high-efficiency particle air) filters and may be the best choice.

• Wash all bedding weekly in very hot water.• Keep the air dry. In summer, use an air conditioner. If humidity is a problem,

use a dehumidifier. • Check the filters regularly and clean and replace when needed.
