Monday mornings at 9:00am at St. James Saturday mornings at 9:00am at St. James
(Marian Mass)
21st Sunday in Ordinary Time Mass Readings | Jesus asks today: Who am I? Peter blurts out: The Christ. In that response, he means the Messiah, the Promised One, the Son of God, the One who saves, redeems, and binds us to God. Quite a mouthful. Profound belief. He is the very foundation of the Church, the People of God. * What is my experience of Jesus? He is….
* How does my experience bind me to all who believe in him? * Since I am called to be like him, whom will I save in some small way today?

#ChipinforKids and help Elizabeth House & Feed the Hungry
The Shaw Charity Classic helps hundreds of thousands of children and youth across Alberta every year access much needed services provided by organizations such as Elizabeth House and Feed the Hungry.
While we can’t physically come together this year for the Shaw Charity Classic, we are honoured to be partici-pating charities with Shaw Birdies for Kids’ #ChipinforKids initiative presented by AltaLink. The real winners of the Shaw Charity Classic have always been the hundreds of thousands of children and youth across Alberta
who rely on charitable organizations for support with food security, healthcare, mental wellness, and much more.
How to participate from your smartphone?
#ChipinforKids for Elizabeth House by texting KIDS088 to 30333 and Shaw will match your donation. #ChipinforKids for Feed the Hungry by texting KIDS092 to 30333 and Shaw will match your donation.
If you text a donation to the Chip In For Kids number, Shaw will match your donation until August 30, 2020. In addition,
Shaw Charity Classic will match both donations, up to an addi-tional 50%. Your $10 donation can grow to a donation of $30 for either Elizabeth House or Feed the Hungry. Thank you
for your support!

Stewardship Reflection
“Or who has given the Lord anything that he may be repaid?” Romans 11:35)
St. Paul reminds us of a central fact of stewardship. We cannot give the Lord anything - God already owns it all. God made everything. All we can do is return a portion of God’s many gifts back to Him. Sincere gratitude for our gifts opens our hearts to joyful generosity! Through your gener-
ous sharing, you just may be the answer to someone’s prayer.

The location will be revealed closer to the date! Inspired by Lay Dominican Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, everyone is welcome to join us for prayer, fellow-ship, and the opportunity to experience the beauty of God’s creation!
