Step 1: Access website via Eservices.joburg.org.za. Click on Online Maps (GIS)

Step 3: Access Zoning theme for stand numbers or street address(click red arrows)

Step 4: Add stand number or street address and click on search

Step 5: Click on township name

Step 6: Click on round circle to zoom to your selection

Step 7: Click on Result: search icon to go to white box to remove red selection

Step 8: Click on the page icon to activate a report for A series – use zoning

Step 9: The report will display: area of stand, owner name, zoning type.

To print the report click on print icon

Step 10: Go back to the map to change layers to B series for the building line and height zones

Step 11: Click on the layer icon to display the B series

Step 12: tick the B series to display the building lines and height zones

Step 13: Click on the Information Icon to select the building lines and height zones

Step 14: Click on Result: search icon to go to page icon for report

Step 15: Click on the page icon to activate a report for B series – building lines,

height zone

Step 16: The report will display: area of stand, owner name, zoning type, building line , height

To print the report click on print icon

Step 17: Go back to the map to change layers

Step 18: Click on the Information Icon to select the building lines

Step 19: Click on the layer icon to display the list of layers

Step 20: Tick the Town Planning Schemes if you need to enquire what the scheme is.

Step 21: Click in the Information Icon and then click anywhere on the if you need to

enquire what the scheme is.

Step 22: Click in the page Icon to display all the Town planning schemes and download

Step 23: Click in the Information Icon and click on the scheme number to display the

scheme and click on the image to open the amendment sheets
