B.IN.B (BOUNDARIES IN BUSINESS)

INTRODUCTIONMy company is “i*C.A.N. Career

Coaching & Personal Branding.”

"The Job Inner-View" - a book addressing innovative approaches

adapting to many new challenges job seekers face today.

Published in 2013, I wrote the book primarily to provide readers with

contemporary job search strategies and networking skills to successfully

find jobs in our present economy.

PURPOSE BEHIND THE WORKSHOP

I began to notice that a majority of us generally fit into one of these three categories:

1) Someone in the infant stages of starting and developing their own business and having difficulty getting clients and obtaining the results they want.

2) Someone either running their own business, or with a partner, and having difficulty adjusting and operating business with a rapid increase and demand for

their services.

3) Someone currently in charge of an established and successful business over a longer period of time, yet works excessively and has difficulty balancing other areas

of their life ( family, health, hobbies, etc.)

WEEK 1: ASSESSING YOUR INDIVIDUAL STRENGTHS AND

TALENTS

WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS?

Cultivating strengths > Overcoming Weaknesses

Research conducted by Father of Strengths Psychology Donald Clifton and Gallup

Scientists over 40 years. Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment translated in 20

languages and used in over 100 countries throughout the world.

STRENGTHS DEFINED

• According to the StrengthsFinder 2.0, the equation reads:

• Strengths = Talents x Investment

• Strengths: The ability to consistently provide near-perfect performance in something.

• Talents: A natural way of thinking, feeling, or behaving.

• Investment: Time spent practicing, developing your skills, and building your knowledge base.

Food for thought: “Why don’t more people capitalize on their strengths?”

An example of intense passion and dedication without possessing the

strength
