– For undergraduate students: MIS3310 (may be waived)

– No pre-requisites for graduate students

– All students must be 18 or older

Cultural immersion activities

• IBMEC students and local managers will participate in at least 1 book chapter-based discussion with TAMIU students - conducted at IBMEC facilities

• Visit to the Institute for Space Research (INPE) in Sao Jose dos Campos (a city located approximate 1 hour north of Sao Paulo) - will receive a tour of INPE’s satellite-based image processing facilities

• Visit 2 organizations in Sao Paulo (one manufacturing plant and one financial firm) - will receive a tour of their information technology facilities

Estimated cost

• $2,500 – which includes:

– Airfare

– Health insurance

– Accommodations

– Ground transportation

– Welcome and farewell dinners

– Field trips, including a visit to the Institute for Space Research (INPE)
