A DAY TO WORSHIP
This is my favorite day
To God’s house to pray
To make my life aright
Keeping Jesus in sight.
I hear the church bell peal
In worship I will kneel
Listening to God’s Word
Knowing He's my Lord.
Praising Him by singing
My offering I’m bringing
Partaking of Sacrament
For my sins I new repent.
Lord bestow Thy blessing
Forgive all my sinning
Dwell deep within my soul
Let heaven be my goal.

My name is Tracy Hagman and I am the Fund Development Director for Sunset Home. I am responsible for all fundraising initiatives, marketing and public relations. Fund Development is the strategic marketing of our nonprofit organization by building relationships with people and other organizations. It is important to develop reliable sources of income to sustain Sunset Home's long term mission which is: Sharing the Love of Jesus Christ through Life in a Caring Community. We are a faith based community proudly related to The United Methodist Church. Examples of ways to give to Sunset Home: monetary gifts, trust & will directives, grants, stocks, endowment interest, property, grain, livestock, bequests and corporate donations. 2015 updates – Sunset Home continues to thrive. The construction will be
complete by the end of the year on the 4th floor of our building for a new Short-Term Rehabilitation unit with 13 beds that will be a private wing with upscale amenities. Sunset was also awarded a generous grant to help purchase state-of-the-art Physical Therapy equipment. More information to come soon! We are also very excited for the completion of Oliver’s Chapel at Sunset Home remodel project. The planning started last year and with successful fundraising efforts and a grant from the Arthur 0. & Lela B. Lindsay Fund we raised $38,293 that paid for the full renovation including new chairs, light fixtures and flooring. The blessings keep coming: Jan Quintero, of Vermont Street United Methodist Church is creating a custom made stain-glassed window piece to place on the altar. Oliver’s Chapel at Sunset Home will be dedicated this December with a reception hosted by Sunset’s Auxiliary for Oliver’s family, our residents & staff, the local churches and for all who contributed to our beautiful new chapel. Lastly, we just finished our 2nd Annual Wine Pull Fundraiser. We netted $21,901 (a 26% increase from last year) and all the proceeds from this event are allocated for the purchase of a new boiler for our heating system. Be sure to “like” us on Facebook and visit our website anytime at www.sunsethome.org. Tracy’s contact information: 217-223-2636 x:306, thagman@sunsethome.org.
