Further increase of attractiveness between Davos and BergünOn the 29 th Swissalpine edition, the section between Davos and Glaris is being reinstated via Islen, Junkerboden, Hof to Spina. In addition to the elevated security level, the new course design is scenic and counts considerably less asphalt roads. The main reason for a reduction of the asphalt percentage is related to the new course design between Wiesen and Bergün where it now leads underneath the world famous Landwasserviadukt concluding with a better course overview for both runners and spectators and the demanding ascent to Bellavista being dropped.
K21 – relocated and pre-scheduled startDespite the singularity of the Sunniberg bridge, the half-marathon start was only partly attrac-tive to participants. As a result, the start has been relocated to Klosters Platz where runners complete a first loop to Monbiel and back. Through this adjustment it is now possible to run the whole course for training purpose at any time. By pre-scheduling the start, the organisation satisfies a frequently expressed desire. The start takes now place on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at noon.
Entry fee reductionWith regards to the savings resulting from the start relocation in Klosters, race entry fees for the categories K21, W21, K10 and W10 benefit from a significant reduction up to 20 %.
MINI race and I'M fit – the group experienceThe MINI race is also in 2014 the kids highlight. No-one too small to take part. Registration for individuals only at the start-number pick-up until friday 2.30 pm.Migros is offering free entry for the first 30 inscribed teams in all «I'M fit» categories. In order to participate as a team, a minimum of 5 kids have to subscribe. Whether school classes, (sport) clubs or a group of friends can benefit. The 5 winning teams are invited to he national I'M Fit finals. The entry fee is CHF 10.– /EUR 8.–. Pre-registration for teams on: www.swissalpine.ch

World's biggest ultramarathon and an ultimate challenge. 21 km of the race lead through high alpine terrain. By course adjustments the asphalt percentage was further reduced.
Europe's highest marathon and a true alpine jewel. The ascents and descents combined with the high altitude level and the partially rough trails make the K42 one of the most challenging mountain races. Special valuation for seniors.
C42 cultural marathon leads from Davos through a captivating scenery and finishes in Bergün in an emotional ambiance.
K30 takes runners along a diversified landscape, across the imposing Zügen Canyon, the famous Wiesen-Viadukt and this year for the first time also over the landmark «Landwasserviadukt»
The start is now located in Klosters Platz. The new course leads over the picturesque Monbiel where spectators whoop runners with traditional cowbells. The course continues over Selfranga via Laret to Davos.
The attractive course along the lake of Davos especially suites running beginners.
The Nordic Walk is again available on two distances (21 km /10 km). The courses correspond with K21 respectively K10.
As train tickets for supporters are not offered any longer, participation at the new F10 is open to anyone. Participants receive the Swiss and Regio Ticket as well as a Swissalpine T-Shirt. A start in this category is optional.
