students.They are introducing themselves
and telling about our European class.
Léo • Hello! • My name is Leo. I’m 17 and live in
Bourges. • I love woodwork because my dream is
to become a boat-builder. I hope to go to Bordeaux to complete my training in Shipwright.
• My hobby is playing rugby and I also like drawing mangas.
• I’ve joined the European class in joinery during the school year because I have realised it would help me improving my English.
Thibault • Hello !
• My name is Thibault, I’m 17 years old and I live in Vierzon.
• I study joinery in the vocational school Jean de Berry.
• I love playing rugby in a club, I play number 9, and reading mangas.
• To complete my training I would like to attend a BP (brevet professionnel, the equivalent of NVQ Level 3 in joinery) in Tours.

When we attend the European class, we have lectures with our English teacher and also one of our joinery teachers,
because we are learning professional English.
What do Léo and Thibault think of the European class?

Jérémy• Hello, my name is Jeremy, I have
been studying plumbing and heating systems in the vocational school, Jean De Berry for 3 years.
• My Vocational school is in the Bourges.
• I have been lucky: I have been able to have a work experience in Scotland, in a small town called East Kilbride.
• I like the European class because, I have 2 extra hours every week, it’s very useful to improve my English.
Quentin• Hello!
• My name is Quentin . I live in Saint-Doulchard .
• I am a student in BAC pro TISEC (the equivalent of BTEC National Diploma) in Bourges.
• I like tennis and sailing .. The European class is very good . Because it helps me with my general English .
Steven• My name is Steven. I’m 18. I live
in Châteauroux with my family.
• I study in Jean de Berry vocational school. I want to become a plumber in new energies.
• I already have the French diploma BEP (the equivalent of BTEC 1st diploma).
• In my spare time, I play football in a team, and I run (jogging)…
• I am a member of the European class to study more English and to discover England.
