To minimize possible damage to the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter , the following gu idelines should be practiced when dismounting or mounting tires onto wheels that contain a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) .

• Before dismounting the tire from the wheel , make sure that the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter are disassembled and dropped inside or removed from the tire .

• The position of the main body of the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter should be within the recommended zone on the tire changing machine , as shown in the Repair Manual , based on the rotation direction of the tire mounting machine .

• Be careful not to damage the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter. Make sure that the ti re bead and tool does not interfere w ith the main body of the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter and that it is not clamped by the bead .
