There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again !!
CBSEi classes I to VI covered the theme Family in the month of September. Various activities were conducted for strengthening their knowledge. The students were sensitized towards the elders in the family. An Open Day was celebrated in the school where the
grandparents of each classes(IA i to VIA i) visited the classrooms of their grandchildren. The grandfriends took out some valuable time out from their set routine and shared anecdotes from their lives or from the lives of other great personalities to motivate the children. The students expressed their gratitude towards their grandfriends by presenting self created cards
as a token of their love. They too reciprocated their grandchildren by giving them uncountable blessings and love. The students were made to realize that everybody in the world is not that fortunate as they and their grandfriends are. There are many old people in the world who are homeless. Some live in old age homes,. Our school alumna, Ms. Srishti who is associated with The Help Age India, visited our school. Through heart touching PPT, she motivated the young learners to understand the needs of old people. This inspired them to visit Triveni Old Age
Home. There our enthusiastic students were welcomed with open arms. Our children spent some quality time with the inmates of the oldage home, cut a cake, enter-tained them with their lovely performances ,gifted them a token of their love and returned school with everlasting memories , smiles on their faces and thousands of bless-
ings to help them to succeed in their lives. The visit sensitized our future of tomorrow and made them realize that it is their foremost duty to help these homeless old people and do something for their betterment. Ms. Sushmita Ghosh from Helpage India paid a visit to the school and encouraged our children to help the aged people in the old age home by collecting some amount from their nears and dears for the noble cause. Our little philanthropists from Classes I A i -VIA i enthusiastically collected the sum of Rs. 26,085. The students were awarded certain prizes by Helpage India as per the amount they collected. The highest donor Moksh Aggarwal, of Class III Ai along with his father Mr. Manish Aggarwal was appreciated in the special assembly for their noble
efforts.
CBSEi …Global Citizens of tomorrow…Doing their bit….

Helpage India happily quoted., “The Assemble Talk with the students was very interactive and the students sang the SAVE song beautifully…it was
very emotional for all of us .
